PACKAGING DNA

Hello frndzzz... Followed by genes and DNA , we are going to share about how the amazingly long DNA is packed inside the nucleus....

Your DNA has to fit into a tiny space , so that it is packed in an ingenious way.

Each molecule is wound like thread around balls of protein. Such protein are known as nucleosomes . It is arranged to form a thicker cord , and then coiled up again.

The end result is the X- shaped structure called a chromosome. Chromosomes are too small to see with the naked eye.It can be seen only under microscope.

It is very small and you would need about 10,000 of chromosomes to just fill a full stop.
THANK YOU FRNDZZZ...We hope you understood...Let's meet again with an another interesting topic
