Female reproductive system.....

  This post deals with Female reproductive  system . Eggs or ovum ( ova ) are the female sex cells.

     Female sex cells are made inside a girl's body before she is born and stored in organs called ovaries .

        In a body of the woman,  an egg cell is released  from one of the ovaries every month and travels along a tube towards the uterus.

         If the egg cell meets a sperm cell, they both fuses,  fertilization  occurs and the resulting embryo implants itself in the uterus and grows into a body.

       

            Here , the fallopian tube connects ovary to uterus and the uterus protects and nourishes foetus . This is all about female reproductive  system.
